After months of anticipation, our trip to Italy departure date has arrived!
We are going on this trip with friends of ours who all went to St. Olaf. The guys have know each other for years - Scott (in the orange sweater) and Greg met in kindergarten. Greg and Dave (Lars) met in 7th grade. Scott went to Rome 40 years ago on a St. Olaf interim - He is the motivator for all of us to take this trip together 40 years later.
Maren (Scott's wife) and Betsy (Dave's wife) and I all went to St. Olaf, too. Out group of 6 is part of a travel group of 28 people all from the Twin Cities. Our first stop was Atlanta for s short layover before boarding the plane for Rome!
